My name is Gabriela Lalane. I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A big part of my family was born or raised in The Republic of Lebanon. This is why I love Lebanese food and know how to speak a little bit of Arabic.
I studied psychology at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC . At first, I thought I wanted to be an industrial psychologist and work at a human resources department. Then I started to work as an assistant teacher, as a part time job and totally felt in love with teaching! I finished college and did my Masters of Science from Buffalo State University of New York. This is my 8th year of experience in the educational field. I taught kindergarten for 6 years, and this is my 2nd year teaching first grade.
I moved to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 3 years ago to work at a brand new school called Cap Cana Heritage School. I feel very happy working and living here.
I got married 6 months ago. I currently live with my husband and my French Bulldog called "Pepino" (cucumber in English). I live animals and nature. In my free time I love going to the beach (it is only 10 minutes away, lucky me J ) and exercising.
One of my professional dreams is to own a school that is totally green friendly!!
