About Me:
My name is Karla Carranza, I was born in Tegucigalapa, Honduras On may 31st. 1975 (34 yeasr ago!). I've been married for 6 years and I have two cute sons; Alejandro age 6, and Gabriel age 30 months and I'm expecting my third child and still don't know the gender...

I have lived in many place because my dad use to be in the army, so we lived for two years in Madrid,Spain. Then we moved back to Honduras and we lived in the south of the country (Choluteca), it was very hot and dry, for two years and finally we moved to the north of the country (San Pedro Sula) where I still live and I love my city, even though is very hot and humid, I love to wake up and see the mountains and being able to go to beach whenever I want to.

I love to knit cross stich, crochet and read Isabel Allende's books, she is my favorite writer.

One thing I always daydream about is being able to provide professional development to preschool teachers in my country. Early Childhood teachers in Honduras lack of opportunitties to develop and being able to make changes in their classrooms. I wish I could work in a program where I could give teachers of private and public school the tools to improve everyday in such an important task.
