Project Mano a Mano III was developed and administered by Ms. Mary Virginia Sanchez, Executive Director of the Association of American Schools of Central America, Colombia, Caribbean, and Mexico. Dr. Ellen Marshall and Dr. Cathy McAuliffe-Dickerson assisted Ms. Sanchez with the project. Dr. Marshall is with the Department of Early Childhood studies at San Antonio College in San Antonio, Texas and Dr. McAuliffe-Dickerson is retired but continues to work as an early childhood consultant in northwest Arkansas. Ms. Carolyn Brunner, Director of the International Learning Styles Center at Buffalo State, State University of New York (SUNY), assisted with the awarding of professional development credit for the project. Following the acknowledgements of the Overseas Schools Advisory Council is a copy of the proposal as it was originally submitted for this special merit project.
